The partnership offers American Express credit card owners to trade their reward points into Farmville points, Café World points, YoVille points, and some other exclusive items. This is a part of the company’s Exclusive Membership Reward system where credit card owners earn points from their everyday purchases.
Some of the online social game items that you can redeem include a Farmville Manx Cat (435 points), Farmville Purple Cow (540 points), Farmville Windmill (1,080 points), Farmville Gum Tree (435 points), and Farmville Blue Manor (1,300 points). Other exclusive items such as the Yoville Ridable Import Roaster, Café World Outdoor Fountain, Café World Amex Lightning Stove, Zynga E-gift Cards, and Zynga Physical Gift Cards can also be availed.
It seems that in today’s world, social network games have become as equally important as other membership reward items. It is a bit amusing to realize that a virtual lightning stove is of almost same value with a prestigious GAP Gift Card. Well, even if we do find it a bit odd. There are a lot of people out there who will really trade their precious American Express points for a purple cow.
