After the huge success of Angry Birds last year, spawning to every mobile, console or computer platform you can think of; it’s obvious this highly addicting game will be landing soon on Google’s web app store, just like on its phenomenal release at the Android Market last year.
Coming fresh at the recently finished Google I/O event today, Angry Birds is now officially announced to be available for download on the Chrome App Store. Likewise, you can play this game on your browser provided that you are using the “un-hackable browser“.

About its specifications, it will run in 60 FPS which is popularly known to be supported by most computers after the millennium. Meanwhile, it’s said the new Chrome browser can handle the latest WebGL standards and Canvas engine, so running Angry Birds on this browser should be a piece of cake.
After playing it for a couple of rounds, you’ll instantly notice that it has a SD and HD version, whereas you’ll be using your mouse instead of your fingers to play the game. Although, it’s noticeable that the experience is a bit “average” than when you’re playing it on a touchscreen device – you know what I mean as soon as you try it. Download it here.
As for the Chrome Web Store, you should know that it’s already available to access worldwide, with some impressive breakdown from Google about its 160 million total userbase points, available in 41 languages and up to 17 million of app installed until this day.
