WWDC or the World Wide Developer’s Conference is held by Apple annually. This year, it is scheduled from the 7th of June until the 11th at San Francisco’s Moscone West. This year’s convention will focus more on the first ever iPad™ development sessions and hands-on working labs for iPhone® OS 4, as well as Mac OS® X core technology labs.
“This year’s WWDC offers developers in-depth sessions and hands-on working labs to learn more about iPhone OS 4, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system,” said Scott Forstall, Apple’s senior vice president of iPhone Software. “WWDC provides a unique opportunity for developers to work side-by-side with Apple engineers and interface designers to make their iPhone and iPad apps even better.”
The Apple WWDC is a conference held for those developers who want to improve and conceptualize other Apple technologies. Well over a thousand of developers/Apple engineers will be there at the Moscone West, armed with a vast knowledge and years experience of advanced coding and techniques that will help you enhance some of your applications with the help of the latest technologies in iPhone OS and Mac OS X.
The conference, as always, will include technical sessions and hands-on labs for attendees and as well as numerous other activities they can join in and participate. The registration for the said event costs about $1,599, yet even for a very expensive fee, tickets have been sold out every single year since it has started. With a short amount of time before tickets are gone, I guess many developers have to move fast in order to secure a spot in the convention.
Apple is also in a way expected to unveil its newest iPhone hardware during a keynote address at the event, even though this gadget has already been publicized after Gizmodo has released details on it after it got lost by an Apple employee in a California bar.
There’s an update that this year will be focused on iPhone’s OS, from the headline banner featuring App Store application icons to the elimination of the Mac OS X as a category in the Apple Design Awards. It has also been said that the heavy emphasis on iPhone’s OS means that the Mac OS X will not be previewed this conference.
