Want another sip of Apple juice starting this month? Well, Cupertino insiders have leaked a juicy info to WSJ with regards to the company’s new project. That is, creating its first High-Definition Television and it’s expected to rollout next year.
To be more specific, this will come out as a real TV set that will compete with Sony Bravia and other popular brands unlike the current Apple TV which only serves as a box to deliver the “apple experience” on a TV with a different brand.

The origination of this report came from an investor’s note at Global Equities yesterday which is about the arrival of Apple HDTV.
This device is said to be similar with Bose VideoWave and its specs will include a 46-inch LCD Screen with HD support, up to 16 surround speakers, new DSP Chip for its core processor, VideoWave technology to reduce “clutter” and improved image reproduction and sound quality.
Interestingly, it’s claimed that unlike other TV brands, this Apple HDTV will only have one cable – something that’s expected for the simplistic design of Apple as seen on its iMac and the new Thunderbolt Display.
Should this rumor become the reality, expect its arrival on March of 2012. Let’s just see if that mantra of Apple that “everything it touches will be sold like hotcakes” will happen on this new product.
