Archos is a French electronics company that is known for its portable media players and portable media storage devices. And though it has developed a wide variety of electronic products, Archos continues to expand its horizons by producing tablet PCs, netbooks, and other Android-powered devices.

The company has also partenered with several known establishments such as BlockBuster, Opera, SFR, PocketDish, American Airlines, and a whole lot more. Among the tablet PCs released by the company is the Archos 7 Home Tablet. And though it was a bit of a turn-off, the company never gave up hope. Thus recently, Archos has finally launched a revised version of the home tablet.
Now, it’s called Archos 7 Version 2. Features of the revised home tablet mainly includes an accelerometer, Android 2.1 “Éclair” OS, 800 MHz Rockchip processor, microSD card slot, video playback, music playback, 7 inch high resolution touch screen, and a 720p HD multimedia display.
Designed with a faster processor that boosts applications and media playback, the tablet is anticipated to enhance every home user’s digital lifestyle. With lots of customizable apps and rich multimedia content, the new Archos 7 will certainly prove that even old tablets will find ways.
As for those who want to check the tablet out, Expansys is already selling it for $200 each.
