I know it’s getting ridiculous now to wait for the ‘oh so many’ Archos tablets that sprouted this year starting from the Archos 7 and ending to Archos 70 (as of now). Recently, the company has finally announced the full specifications of this Android based tablet plus its price. So just to give you a quick recap: The 7-inch Archos 70 tablet is capable to go HD with its 800×480 resolution (16:9 aspect ratio) and its whole form factor is said to be light and very durable. It’s powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortext A8 processor; 8GB internal flash storage capacity and it will support Android 2.2 (Froyo) on its release date. Other goodies include WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, a front-facing VGA camera. Take note that it supports microSDHC and it’s predicted that this tablet can cater a 250GB hard-drive in a not so distant future.

Aside from the specs, there are these subtle features incorporated with the tablet like Android on TV, Home streaming from your PC (using its UPnP connection), 3D graphics accelerator, AppsLib (Archos own interface to deliver you apps faster) and more games.
If you are interested, you can pre-order it now at the online Archos store. $274.99 for the 8gig model and 349.99 USD for the 250GB version.
