People all over the world are “crazy” about word puzzles. Many types of electronic word puzzles hit the market for many years now, among them is Text Twist. There are many versions developed for this game, one of which is the most popular Super Text twist – one of the most successful puzzle game developed by GameHouse.
Text twist is similar to Jumble, a word puzzle wherein the player is given a set of letters to be arranged to “un-jumble” correct words.
Simple Game Mechanics
The “twist” on GameHouse’s word puzzle game is that you will be given a definite time period (around 2 1/2 minutes or less) to solve as many “relevant” words as possible. Relevant means that the words should be in the game’s database else it will be incorrect. There is a 6 letter puzzle option or to add more challenge try to work the 7-letter puzzle.
The score of each word depends on the number of letters i.e. 5 letter word has higher score than a 4 letter word and 4 letter word is higher than 3 letter word.
The objective is to solve the 6 or 7 letter word in order to proceed to the next round of puzzles. The END goal for you is to have the HIGHEST possible score than your friend!
You can save your game anytime thus, if your’re really good in “twisting” letters then you could go on and on. I know someone who scored a whopping 1 MILLION points on this game! (but it took her many days of course).
