Okay so after all the tall tales of your heroic misadventures on finishing Assassins Creed II, the update that you have been waiting for has yet to arrive, faster than what you’ve expected. According to crunchgear, it appears Assassin’s Creed III will be released on a fiscal year of 2010-2011 and will begin as early as April 2010 . A recent financial release from Ubisoft suggests that this year will be aimed for updates and heightening their seems to be ‘downward performance’ last year. You can get the pdf version here
Initial information on the 2010-11 line-up
The 2010-11 fiscal year will see a greater number of franchise releases than in 2009-10, including Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™, a new game in the Tom Clancy™’s Ghost Recon® series, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands™, Driver®, Raving Rabbids™ 4 and a new episode of Assassin’s Creed®, which will be the first in the series to have an online multiplayer mode.
Now, Ubisoft didn’t specifically said that this will be named as Assassin’s Creed III or just a minor revamp of the old version (Sorry, but I really want them to specifically say Assassin’s Creed III) But anyway, at least AC fans will be looking forward for something new again, don’t they?
We will update you as soon as we get a more lengthy statement for this one.
