Asus is set to release its two (2) new tablet devices, the Eee Pad Transformer and the Eee Slate EP121 in the UK.

The Eee Pad Transformer has a 10.1 inch in-plane switching (IPS) panel display. It runs on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The tablet has two cameras, with the front being 1.2 megapixels and the rear being 5 megapixels. User is given the option to partner it with the docking station which has an integrated full QWERTY keyboard.

Meanwhile, the Eee Slate EP121 is considered to be the world’s most powerful Window’s 7 tablet. It’s powered by Intel’s Core i5 processor which has an ultra low voltage. Complementing features includes a 12.1 inch touch screen display with 1280×800 resolution, 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, 2 GB or 4GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth3.0, USB 2.0, mini HDMI port and flash card reader.
The Eee Pad Transformer will be available by April 6 (pre-orders are already starting as this is being written) with a price of £379 ($608) for the 16GB while the 32GB is set at £429 ($688) Availing the optional keyboard will push the 16GB’s price to £429. On the other hand, the Eee Slate EP121 will hit UK by April 10 and price is pegged at £999 ($1,602). Pre-order is exclusively through Amazon UK (up until May 1).
