After two months of leaking, Asus has finally unveiled the newest member of its Eee PC family – The Asus Eee PC 1015PN. At a glance, you might say this is one of the best netbook under the Eee PC bracket because it utilizes Nvidia ION 2 graphics with Nvidia Optimus switching technology which can support 1080p video playback not to mention its battery can last up to 9.5 hours – as Asus claims.

As the specification goes, this netbook will shelter a 10.1 inch display (1024×600 resolution) powered by an Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, with a RAM set to 1GB DDR3 and a hard disk storage capacity of 250GB, aside from Asus (500 GB) cloud-based storage. Other goodies include full HDTV capability up to 1080p (which you already know) plus a good 7.1 surround system to give you the best possible mini-entertainment at the comforts of your own netbook. It will be available with a bundled Windows 7 starter suite and it’s now available for ordering today for a 3e’sh price of 429 USD.
Here’s an early video-impression for the Asus Eee PC 1015PN
Come to think of it, this device may come out as one of the best netbook currently available on the market considering its closest competitor, the recently launched Samsung NF310, bolsters almost the same amount of specs but costs more than one Benjamin than the 1015PN and theoretically speaking, this one may last longer because of its newly christened ION 2 technology.
