Ladies, if you’re liking your Man’s manly 1015PEM or 1015PN ASUS netbook, but you don’t like the color scheme and wishing for something a little more cutesy and girly and still pack the same oomph, then Asus must be a mind reader since here’s their ASUS Eee PC 1015PW.
With color scheme titles like ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Gold Dust’ and ‘Angel Skin’ you have the lady-like feeling to a hard thumping netbook in one neat package. Like it’s older brothers 1015PEM and 1015PN, this little sister will be sporting the same tech specs from the Taiwan Tech Company.: Here’s a quick rundown of the specs:
- Dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 CPU
- Can support up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM
- 802.11n WiFi
- Bluetooth 3.0
- 250GB or 320GB hard drive
- 500GB of online ASUS Webstorage
- 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600 LED-backlit screen.
- Chiclet keyboard
- Webcam with camera cover
- Card reader
- 10 hours of battery life
Also, this could be also sporting NVIDIA’s Ion 2 platform, but our guess is as good as the manufacturer’s claims.
If it’s almost the same as its older brothers, then you can guess the price range to be in the neighbor hood of €349 or somewhere around $440 US. No concrete news as of yet on the real price point or when this will be released but you’ll be able to see this first in Europe if Asus stays true to form.
