Although netbook sales are being reported as going in a deathspiral already due to the tablet wars heating up, Asus is still confident enough to release one of their most hushed up pieces of portable hardware, the ASUS Eee PC 1015T.

Here’s a quick rundown of the specs of the ASUS Eee PC 1015T:
- 1.2GHz AMD V105 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 250GB (5400RPM) hard drive
- ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 4250
- 10.1-inch LED-backlit panel
- Built-in webcam and mic
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi
- 32-bit copy of Windows 7 Starter
- Six-cell battery that can last up to 6 hours but should wind down to 3-4.
- Weight: 2.8 pounds
The 1015T is based on AMD’s base level Nile platform. It can easily outperform single-core Atoms with thier puny integrated GMA graphics chip. This is also capable of 1080p video playback and includes HDMI at the sacrifice of battery life.
Although this is just coming out of the American market, this has already seen some action on other countries in Europe.

The ASUS netbook comes in Red, Blue, White and Black. You can get one now at B&H Photo Video Pro and ExcaliberPC.com for $350.
