Few more days to go till the most awaited Consumer Electronics Show. Most electronic companies are now preparing to showcase their products on the said grand event.

As for ASUS, we’re not just going to expect “Eee-slates” but new gaming notebooks as well. And if you haven’t heard about it yet, ASUS has recently announced that two new notebooks will be released on the market this 2011. The said notebooks will be called as G73SW and G53SW. Furthermore, both devices are said to run on Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processor.
The G73SW will basically feature a 17.3 inch HD LCD display with 1920×1080 screen resolution. It will also feature an 8GB DDR3 RAM, Intel Quad Core i7-2630QM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460m, USB 3.0 ports, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, and Blu-ray.The gaming notebook can also cater two hard drives for data storage. ASUS has chosen SATA 500 GB 7200rpm and the hybrid Seagate Momentus XT series with 4 GB SSD for the device.
On the other hand, the G53SW features 15.6 inch HD screen display, Intel Core i7-2630QM, Windows 7 Home Premium, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB Hard Disk Storage, SSD Hybrid GeForce GTX 460m graphic card, 1.5 GB GDDR5 RAM, Blu-ray, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, built-in microphone and a webcam. A carrying bag and a two-year warranty will also be enclosed upon purchase.

And though the actual date of release has not yet been announced, we’re expecting that the ASUS notebooks will be exposed at the 2011 CES. Price of the G73SW will cost around €1900 to €2050 while the G53SW will cost around $1,299.
