If you are looking for a new laptop, then here is a laptop to look forward to. This is the all new Asus G74SX 3D laptop. Apparently, this laptop is one those laptops that was shown in the CeBIT event.
CeBIT is one of the world’s largest fair that showcases a lot of digital IT and telecommunications solutions from well-known manufacturers in the world held in Hanover in Germany. Basically, the Asus G74SX 3D laptop is a part of the company’s Republic of Gamers product line. This product line makes use of high-end hardware components and also targets gaming enthusiasts out there.
The G74SX 3D laptop is a notebook that is powered by Intel’s second generation Core processors, 64 texturing units, and 32 ROPs. We can expect this laptop to be featuring specs that are slightly higher than those of the GeForce GTX480M.
Let us take a closer look at the Asus G74SX 3D laptop. This new laptop will basically come with the following specs:
- sports a 17.3 inch LED 16:9 high definition (HD) or Full High-Definition (FHD) display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution based on Shutter technology
- powered by the latest Intel Core i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge Quad Core processor

The good thing about this new laptop is that it can be configured with various HDD, SSD and hybrid storage solutions. Besides this, Asus has also uses the same dark gray theme as all the other G7x series models. Its backlit keyboard is also great LAN parties and mid-night gaming sessions.
There are no details yet as far as pricing and availability is concerned, but it is expected that the Asus G74SX 3D laptop will be carrying a pretty impressive price tag. So gamers out there, watch out for this new laptop from Asus.
