The Asus Designo Series just went through a major update. With the all new LED monitors that would be added on their series, IPS and a Vertical Alignment panels were used to improve viewing experience. Though these monitors retained the same design of the award-winning Designo, there is no doubt that there are some upgrades here and there. Check them out.

The new trio of the Designo Series (ML229H, ML239H and ML249H) features a 22-, 23- and 24- inch with great 178 degree viewing angle, rich and clear 1920×1080 resolution that renders high contrast ratio, HDMI, D-sub connectivity, LED backlight, Standard audio jack and great-looking colors. Additionally, this IPS-based LED monitors has only a 5ms grey to grey response time plus a higher contrast ratio compared with the TN models – as much as 5 times.
Price-wise, the difference isn’t that big either. According to vr-zone, the ML238H (TN model) is being retailed in Taiwan for NT$7390 ($319 USD) whereas the IPS-based LED monitor ML239H can be bought for NT$8990 ($388USD). Thus, if you’re a display screen junkie who cares about projection and reproduction of color images, you can get the IPS-based display.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get more details about the current price of other ASUS Designo ML-series. You can check out Asus’ site for more info.
