ASUS NX90Jq Dual Touchpad Laptop Hands-on Video| Specs Review

Posted on 15 January 2010 by pinoytutorial

Here comes the dual touchpad united! The ASUS NX90Jq like a mounted LCD or plasma TV high-definition, if you’ve ever plugged-in two USB mice into a computer at once, you know exactly how these two pads work in concert. These touch pads give you a DJ turntable-like experience. The most innovative feature from a computing stand point is the introduction of a dual touch pad solution that ASUS claims.

A big bang for Asus. The Bang & Olufsen or the “B&O” the masters of hi-end technology. Is a Danish company that designs and manufactures tv sets, telephones and audio products that gives us the experience of “DJ turntable-like” with the B&O ICEpower speakers and is clearly meant to live in your living room!

There’s no denying this is one sleek looking lappie with a polished aluminum exterior, but it’s got some pretty cool tricks too including dual touchpads that supposedly gives you a DJ turntable-like experience. The high-def, 18.4-inch display is flanked by B&O ICEpower speakers. It’s not all looks here, though. It’s got a Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 334M graphics, support for up to 1280GB of storage (with dual drives), a slot-in Blu-ray drive and USB 3.0.

The dual and gigantic touch pads placed one on each side is made of matte plastic a very comfortable and sensitive too. The keyboard seems to be very comfortable with properly placed keys. The ICE power speakers appear to be pretty decent and hopefully it works the same even at full volume.

With sleek design that’s almost futuristic, the Asus NX90Jq is a laptop built with advanced technology and packed with many unique features. For most people, when they think about laptops, portability is a big factor.  You want to be able to move your laptop without having to carry it in some huge bag, or worry about breaking yourself or the laptop.  For some reason, the Asus NX90Jq seems to defy that logic, with one of the largest, most ridiculous laptops I’ve seen. What makes it stand out from other models is the fact is has dual touchpad capability which allows owners to zoom in and out and rotate images and documents with ease.
