The Batarang wireless controller gives us another reason to love both Batman and gaming consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). This controller would surely create a buzz among Dark Knight Fanatics out there.
For starters, the controller is branded as a collectible since it will come out in time for the release of Batman: Arkham City. It is a wireless receiver having the built-in motion sensing technology and equipped with the dual rumble motors that give’s the realistic gameplay. One cool thing about this controller is that it has bat-themed start/select and back buttons and there are 7 different colors that can be personalized to suit the preferences of the gamer.
Moreover, there’s LED illumination on the controller’s action buttons. The rubber grips are designed to give gamers comfort in their long gaming sessions. It also comes with an internal rechargeable battery, USB RF receiver and 6 feet (1.8 meter) USB charging cable.
Although developed for both Xbox 360 and PS3, it can be observed that in terms of design, the controller has the slight inclination on the PS3 because of the button and analog design layout, internal battery and detachable charging cable.
This collectible controller would be on display the upcoming E3 next week. Expect it to be on stores by October, synchronized with the release of Batman: Arkham City. Better be ready when the Bat Signal appears!
