EA Digital Illusion CE (DICE) has outed a series of patches to solve the problems encountered during beta testing of the upcoming shooter video game Battlefield 3. This has been made possible through the feedbacks of beta testers.

Their review of the game indicates a mixture of amazement and disappointment which are but natural in beta testing. As the testing progresses, driver updates were provided by ATi and Nvidia. The test has been purposely made to identify bugs along the way and seek reactions and comments to further improve the game ahead of its official release in October 25, 2011.
The first updates deal with issues involving crosshair disappearance, screen effects, rank and scores tweaks and framework stability. The fixes have rectified the bugs pertaining to killcam glitch, client crashing and dead mate spawning. Online tweets have pointed to the disappearance of bugs in the main game only. The final game also is expected to feature improvements with the squad list.
Battlefield 3 will be available on Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 with a possible iOS platform support. It is the direct sequel to Battlefield 2 released on 2005 and published by Electronic Arts. The new patch release has been intended to update gamers about the game’s continuing development.
