Here we go again, having a company touting its game as the best among the rest, then gamers will troll out once they experienced it for real. This type of cycle is normal, and the more grandiose the game is, expect more of these clichéd scenarios repeating over and over again.
This week, DICE finally gave away its Battlefield 3 official system requirements for all PC Gamers. But if you’ll look at this link, it’s rather ambiguous or should I say incomplete.
Here’s the screenshot.

If you’ve been reading all the past news about Battlefield 3, you’ll notice DICE has been giving us the impression that its PC Graphics will be unmatchable when compared to Xbox 360 / PS3. Obviously, its a reality for the CPU / GPU infused on those two consoles are overly aged compare to the latest rig of computers this year. Then again, if you’ll look at the recommended system requirements of the image above, that fact is quite hard to derive especially when its GPU is 512MB Vram only and processor set to “quad-core”.
Hopefully, BF3 will soon realize that playing Dr. Strange with PC gamers not disclosing its actual specifications can turn out pretty sour than sweet, for upgrading a computer towards a game that won’t fit in flawlessly is the last thing anyone of us would like to happen.
Battlefield 3 is predicted to be revealed on November 2, 2011.
