Just when you thought 2K Games would be stalling Bioshock 2 DLC Protector Trials again, it appears the team finally managed to confirm its official release date and it should arrive today on your PC!
As you can see, The Protector Trials DLC has been delayed repeatedly since August of last year, to a point that it was even put on shelf without hinting any updates for its release. Anyway, that was so last year, because Elizabeth of 2K announced that it will already be available for download to all Bioshock 2 PC players and its price will be for free!
In addition to that, this patch would also bring other minor fixes like a tweak on mouse sensitivity, correction of unlocalized text in customize controls screen, dropping of mouse functionality when video-card warning appears and fix for the overwriting of user.ini when the game loads.
Also, the company hints that they still haven’t forget to work with Minerva’s Den DLC and should you see other issues, you can contact the team so they can include other fixes on the next Bioshock 2 patch update.
Anyway, if you think Bioshock 2 is turning much of an “old-school” type of game, you might as well want to look on its MMO version – Bioshock: Infinite destined to be revealed next year!
