Back at the official launch of Playstation Move, Sony has finally announced the situation for the consoles and packages for the device. A 160GB stand-alone PS3 device (sans the playstation move peripherals) will cost 299 USD, while the 320GB PS3 + Sony Move experience ( Move motion controller, Eye Camera, Sports Champions Blu-ray game and disc) wil be tagged at 399.99 USD. What they fail to mention though is that information, if Sony is going to release a stand-alone PS3 320GB console as well? Today, the PS Blog finally got the answer that you’re looking for.
Coming from the horses mouth, the PS3 standalone console (320GB) will be tagged at 349.99 USD. As you can see, Sony is really wise on how they are marketing this console to the people. Come to think of it, you can just shellout 50 bucks more from your original 160GB PS3 standalone console (299 USD) and you can double its capacity already to get the 320GB standalone console.
Not to mention that if you just add 50 bucks more, you can get the whole 320GB + the Sony move experience, isn’t this just great? And to add more with the good news, it appears Sony is still a bit shy of revealing its exact release date (ETA) of these standalone devices. My best guess is it will be on Black Friday 2010, where it’s the busiest day for any consumer-electronic supplier like Sony. We have also a reason to believe that if you will just wait a little more, you can get these stand-alone with a coupon code on Walmart and Best Buy giving you the impression that you have bought this for 300 bucks only or less if you have a 100 USD worth of coupon code.
