Posted on 13 November 2011 by pinoytutorial

For those who are planning to attend Black Friday on Thanksgiving, here’s a comparison report to help buyers find their way with the deals given away by Best Buy and Target. Just in case you missed our previous report, we already made a similar column showing the best video-game deals offered by Best Buy, Target and Walmart.

For starters, you should know that it’s impossible shop A contains all the goodies from shop B. And using that as our basis for comparing Best Buy and Target, you can already see both shops have pros and cons.

HDTV

Target only offers three television for its doorbuster deals like the 40-inch Element 1080p LCD HDTV at $265, 32-inch Samsung 720p at $277.99 and 46-inch Westinghouse LCD HDTV. Obviously, Best Buy eats the competition here as the shop offers more than twenty selections beginning with Dynex’s 24-inch 1080p LCD HDTV tagged at $79.99 up to its grandiose 55-inch Sony Bravia 1080p Home Theater System with 3D HDTV capability priced at $1,698.

Video-Games

In our previous report, we revealed that aside from Walmart being the king for all video-game deals, Best Buy is the queen offering games like Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, Batman: Arkham City and Uncharted 3 for only $29.99 which is cheaper than Target’s offering of $37 on these items. In addition to that, Red T don’t give any console bundle deals which is a far cry compared with Best Buy as it gives amazing console bundle discounts for PS3 and Xbox 360 for only $199.

Wrap-up

In the end, Best Buy simply beats Target in terms of electronic products since we all know the yellow retailer is made for this. Likewise, the only advantage we can see with Target is its other products that aren’t included with Best Buy’s stash. I know that sounds like a long shot but some buyers might still be interested with that especially when Best Buy store is a 30 minute drive away from their house instead of Red T which is doable in 10 minutes.
