After the confirmation of Black Ops 2 as the upcoming Call of Duty title this year, more details are leaking out regarding the game. Apart from a brand-new setting in the not-so-distant future, one of the much anticipated parts of the game is its Zombie Mode.
The main reason why so many fans are hyped up with this mode is the fact that Treyarch made it a point to listen to their reviews and really try to include their suggestions in the game. Treyarch Studio head Mark Lamia reveals that COD zombie fans want more: more zombies and more ways to play, and the studio is intent on satisfying that craving.
“We are crafting new worlds, creating new game modes,” Lamia tells online sources.
So what can fans expect in this new installment? As Lamia has revealed, the new Zombie Mode will have MORE. One of the biggest improvements is the eight-player co-op mode. With as many players in the game, one can expect more zombies that may be harder to kill than the classic mode. There are also new gameplay modes available, but don’t worry, the classic mode you’re used to is still there for your enjoyment.
With high tech firepower incorporated in previous Zombie Mode such as rayguns and transporters, you can expect that the integration of the story with the main storyline set in 2025 will by seamless.
All in all, it seems that Treyarch has upgraded this popular mode from a mini-game into something close to a complete game all in itself. Excited much? You still have to wait six more months, though, before the November 13th release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
