A video showing the trial of a sample model unit of Blackberry Curve 9300 has been leaked to the public eye. It seems that another amazing phone is soon to be released and set to captivate the attention of many blackberry users. In some blogs, the Blackberry Curve 9300 was mistakenly identified as the Gemini, but it appears that these are entirely two different mobile handsets. This unit is being eyed to be the replacement of the Blackberry 8500 series.
The Blackberry Curve 9300 features a completely redesigned hardware that provides more comfortable access to media and volume control. As of present, only the following information was initially available for this upcoming Blackberry Curve 9300 (of course some may vary upon release date):
- Comes with a 2.4 inch TFT screen with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution display even larger than that of the Blackberry 8900 unit
- The CPU will also be spiked, however there is no definite information whether it will be more powerful than the Bold’s 624MHz processor or not
- The device will come in silver color
- It has a more spacious and tactile keyboard than the Blackberry 8500
- Comes with an optical trackpad
- It has flush control buttons as well as new media controls on the top which includes previous, next, back ,play/pause button enclosed in the top of its glossy frame
- Its volume rocker has been also redesigned to fit its sleek exterior design
- Comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack
- Has a micro USB port situated on both sides
- Comes with a Bluetooth, Wi-fi and 3G connectivity
- Has a GPS which will make your navigation experience simply easier
- Camera specs were not yet confirmed but may come in a 3.2 megapixels or better
As shown in several tech blogs, the Blackberry 9300 initially runs in Blackberry OS5 but is expected to ship with OS6 when launched. Most likely, the Blackberry Curve 9300 will be available via T-mobile in UK and over AT&T in the US upon its release in the market.
So far, those people who have seen the video regarding Blackberry Curve 9300 seem fascinated and appreciate what they have seen. This upcoming Blackberry model shows amazing features that will surely give consumers the experience of a lifetime.
There are still no details available regarding its price as well as its launching date. No official announcement has been made regarding the Blackberry Curve 9300. Some ongoing rumors said that it may be released within the last quarter of 2010.
