Blackberry Empathy: Specs and Release Date Unknown | Review for Concept Phone

There’s a reason why some stays as a designer only and while others became manufacturers – because the two are like oil in water. Let me show you what I mean.

The beautiful creation posted above is the new Blackberry Empathy and obviously, this one won’t land on your hands soon or even when 2012 arrives and it’s the end of the world. And so, this design is spearheaded by Yanko and you can be sure this smartphone will blow anyone’s mind. How? By giving this device the ability to sense the emotion of the users by syncing a biometric cognition between the device and the users so everytime you’re about to cry, laugh, etc. – those emotions will serve as a trigger mechanism for empathy to work. And what do you see? Well, it’s represented on a social map whereas there’s an array of color palettes to convey different types of emotion producing a set of vibrant and alluring hues and tones.

Check out the video to believe!

I don’t know about you, but if you’ll ask me, this one is pretty scary compared to the past designs we’ve seen before. Like I said, there’s a reason why some things are only worth seeing as a pigment of your imagination – just imagine what would be your color if you’re a die-hard RIM fan and you saw this infographic picture while holding the empathy smartphone?
