We all know that everyone is attached to their phones or laptops for new information and ways of communication. It seems like life would not be complete without these gadgets to help them out in their daily lives. So when a major gadget like the Blackberry goes down, the whole continent feels it and there is a BlackBerry Outrage.
Today, all around the area of North America, everyone was having problems using their Blackberries. All over the continent, people are having problems sending BlackBerry mail, email, and internet surfing. Currently, phone service, browsing, and PIN-to-PIN messaging are not affected, according to RIM. This could be due to the release of a new BlackBerry messaging service. RIM (Research In Motion), the makers of the BlackBerry phone, released versions 5.0.0.57 last week and they are trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the problem is affecting BlackBerry users everywhere, no matter what carrier they are using.
The last reported incident like this was back in February 2008, where another update caused the outrage. Hopefully, the problem will be fixed soon and everyone will be able to make up for the lost time while their BlackBerries were down. In the mean time, everyone will have to find some other means for communication and internet surfing.
