Posted on 07 August 2011 by author

An optical mouse with a weighing scale is rare a combination within and for a small gadget. Brando has dispelled notions about this strange setup by offering its USB Optical Mouse with a digital scale.

Weighing 147 grams for both, it is something which touchpad owners can’t resist because it can weight small things not exceeding 500grams such as pencils, lighters and so on. While they may be comfortable with a touchpad, there are times that dragging and dropping require the assistance of the handy mouse. The digital scale is fully integrated and can be easily calibrated after lifting the mouse cover.

The mouse has a dimension of 120 x 64 x 35mm, and the scale 59 x 59 x 20mm. The scale’s readability is 0.1g but with a built-in scale units in g, oz, gn and ct. A computer user taking a rest may find this mouse worthwhile entertaining and fun, possibly reducing the work stress. It is also a common experience among touchpad fanatics that cursors tend to deviate from their intended locations to their frustration and headache.

The Brando USB Optical mouse has built-in back light and its digital scale is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, which are included in the package at the price of $22 available online. Still interested?
