Now here’s a breaking news from the gamingsphere about the current buzz that surrounds the next big thing for the Call of Duty franchise. As of today, it appears Activision has already put Sledgehammer on the front-seat of developing the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and expect its release date on November. Obviously, this project will only be possible if Infinity Ward (developer of MW2) would be tagging along with Sledgehammer for this new project.
So far, Activision has not yet made any official call about this leak but LA Times confirms Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward have the same length of the stick in regards with the MW3 venture. This leads to the former having some delaying issues on other gaming projects for Call of Duty like its Action-adventure type of versions.
As some of you may already know, MW3 could be parallel with the leaks we’ve heard before that Activision is planning to release a new COD installment that includes space marines and some galactic space warfare since the developer who’s task for this happens to be Sledgehammer as well.
Anyway, we’ll see how this one turns out in the near future!
