Wrap up

In our opinion, the Canon A720 IS is a practical digital point and shoot camera. Alright, we admit, it has many shortcomings and basically there are tons of better compact cameras commercially available now. But on one hand,  it has many good features and makes really good quality photos. Also, it isn’t a dSLR so don’t expect to have a perfect “shot” every time. If you are planning to buy an affordable camera and yet delivers solid performance then Canon A720 IS is a good choice.

I personally have an A720 now, and I can attest that it has a good solid performance in terms of photo quality, and comparing on other leading compact digital cameras it works better. It may lag sometimes especially while attempting several continuous photo shoots. But overall it is  good, affordable and durable too.

Tips

1. My one problem for this camera is power consumption. if you are planning to buy this camera be sure to buy Alkaline/Super alkaline batteries or better buy Rechargeable batteries with high Ampere rating to have long hours of photo shoots.

Have you tried this camera before? do you have one now? What do you think of it?
