Canon will soon release two cameras this year. The Powershot ELPH 530 HS and the Powershot D20. Not surprisingly, both cameras have something new and exciting features to offer.
Let’s start with the Canon Powershot ELPH 530 HS. This camera is thin and lightweight. In fact the ELPH 530 measures 86 x 54 x 20mm and only weighs 163 grams. It also comes with a 3.2 inch LCD with 10 megapixel resolution. The Powershot ELPH 530 HS has a built-in WiFi that allows users to connect and transfers files directly to the web, a smartphone and tablet on the same WiFi network. It also has a built-in Twitter and Facebook.
On the other hand, Canon Powershot D20 may be a bit bulky specially for the ladies. The said device measures 112.3 x 70 x 28 mm and weighs 228 grams. Despite its size the LCD screen is just 3.0 inch but it comprises with the 12.1 megapixel resolution and the 5x 28mm optical stabilized zoom lens. The Canon Powershot D20 has been perfectly designed for the outdoors.
This kind of camera was built to withstand strains that are practically conceivable to human mind. Well that is at least for durability and temperature change. This camera is waterproof (can be submerge for at least 33ft), it can even survive a fall of 5ft and can withstand a temperature ranging from 14º to 104ºF.
Interested photogs can get the Canon Powershot ELPH 530 HS in April for $349 while the Powershot D20 on May at the same price tag.
