Looking at its reported features, the Miracle will be sporting a 4-inch WVGA display which also happens to be a NOVA folks! This simply means that the phone will be one of the brightest Windows powered phone out on the market. In charge of running and orchestrating its multitude of functions is the 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

LG has also made sure that it has enough storage for images and videos and that’s why it has 8GB of memory. A duo of cameras will also be present, the rear-facing camera being 5-megapixel and 720p capable while the front-facing one is a VGA camera. On connectivity, it is said to have 14.4Mbps HSPA radio and a 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi. There is also Bluetooth 3.0 and Near Field Communication (NFC).

The Miracle should be appearing before the public come the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain later this month. Release is said to be by spring. No details yet given on how much it would cost.

The LG A290 also has a 1500 mAh battery and has relatively slim dimensions of 113.5 x 51 x 12.95 mm. Moreover, there is still no information on whether the device will be triple SIM dual active, triple SIM dual standby, or triple SIM active. Triple SIM dual active means that two SIMs can be active at a certain time whereas triple SIM dual standby means that only one SIM card can be active at one time. Users will then have to manually select whether they prefer to have the third SIM activated. Triple SIM active then indicates that all three SIM cards will be active at a given point of time.

The LG A290 will debut in Russia this month for an estimated price of €75 and has been deemed as a bit more expensive than the other LG phones that are currently out in the market. Details of the phone’s release in other countries have not yet been announced.

The company is certainly adamant on pushing the boundaries for its 3D handset series with the 3D Max. The new name was first leaked by Israel-based tech site GSM-Israel. And although we’re skeptical the first time we heard it, knowing the site’s track record on accurately spilling confidential information, this piece of information is probably true.

Aside from its name, the next-generation LG 3D handset will sport a 4.3-inch NOVA autostereoscopic panel for clear 2D and 3D image display, a dual-core TI OMAP 1.2GHz processor, built-in NFC hardware, 5MP dual rear camera to shoot 3D scenes and videos, 8GB flash storage, Wifi, DLNA compatible, Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA support and sports a slimmer and sexier exterior than the original Optimus 3D phone. It’s also expected to run with Gingerbread which might be (or should be) updated to ICS ASAP to entice more buyers.

If you’re excited to see more of LG 3D Max, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Spain is kicking off next month and it’s expected that the 3D handset will be one of the participants. Stay tuned.

LG is reported to be following its first 3D smartphone, the Optimus 3D with its second generation brethren, the Optimus 3D 2 and was baptized with the codename CX2. Although the latter is not quite far from the original Optimus 3D, it does bring to the table new specs and from the looks of things, it will also be a handy version of the company’s flagship 3D smartphone.

To compare the two, the Optimus 3D dons a 1.0GHz dual-core OMAP alongside a 4.3inch WVGA display whereas the CX2 is said to have upgraded its processor to an unknown 1.2GHz dual-core processor from Texas Industries and an NFC module. The CX2 will also suit a glistening new NOVA autosteroscopic display for better brightness although it has also been said that there will be a slight difference in illumination between 2D and 3D modes. Screen dimensions on both smartphones will practically be the same with the CX2 having a slight head start on brightness.

The Optimus 3D 2 will still have its predecessor’s dual rear camera at 5megapixels apiece but the turning point of the revamped models is its size, slimming down the smartphone by 2 millimeters – from the 12mm of the Optimus 3D, the CX2 will now be at a mere 10mm, making it palm and pocket friendly.

Summing up the speculations, the Optimus 3D 2 aka CX2 will also suit an 8GB internal storage, DNLA capable 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth3.0 and should sport 21Mbps of HSPA – the same with the company’s quad-core premiere smartphone, the X3.

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain will have the privilege to witness the unveiling of the CX2 next month. A CX2 with Gingerbread is forecasted to hit retail stores by spring. This may be a disappointment to some since 2012 is the year of the ICS. But then again, we’ll find out more about the CX2 at the MWC.

Touted as the direct competitor of the HTC Edge, the LG X3 may seem to be as a mirror image of the former. Although it’s too early for us to tell who’s leading the race, it is still a fun thought that we now have options – options to whether choose Edge or the X3 is entirely up to you.

To compare the HTC Edge and the LG X3, one need be a rocket scientist to figure things out in their right coordinates: both the HTC Edge and LG X3 will don a 4.7inch, 720p resolution display screen and an 8megapixel prime camera. The X3 will also have a 1.3megapixel front facing snapper but no word was blurted for the Edge. Both superphones will also suit Tegra 3 NVIDIA processors. Common perks such as WiFi and Bluetooth are also present on both with 21Mbps HSPA.

Pointing out minute differences, the LG X3 will have a slight edge, measuring in at 9mm while the HTC Edge is reported to be at 10mm. Storage wise, the Edge does have the edge at 32GB whilst the X3 is at 16GB.

The LG X3 was fair to mention that their quad-core representative will already have Android 4.0 (ICS). However, HTC wasn’t able to mention a specific Android make although it said that Beats Audio enhancements will come into play and packs HTC Content Services.

Sensing the tight battle, it’ll be in our hands to whether go for the Edge or the X3. Preference wise, it’s a close battle to say the least. But who knows? LG Viper will be sporting a 4-inch WVGA Nova Display. Running the multitude of functions will be a 1.2GHz dual-core GPU while its operating system (OS) would be Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread). Still and video captures is made possible by a duo of cameras, a VGA camera in front and a 5 megapixels rear-facing camera with LED flash. In addition, the Viper will have a digital living network alliance (DLNA) certification and will support near field communication (NFC). It may also have the Google Wallet support.

The handset is in pre-production and so we’ll have to wait a while for it to come out. As of now, pricing as well as availability is a blur but we do know that we’d expect it this 2012. It’s good to know that there’ll be an eco-friendly 4G LTE enabled phone coming out soon.

Well, aside from its 55-inch screen LG is also coming with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 as announced by the company previously. Its panel is about 5mm thin and has also a color gamut that is definitely wider than what is produced by LCD panels. OLED technology is actually expected to surpass LCD technology and this is the main reason why it has great potential of making it big in the market, which is now being dominated by LCD TVs. As we all know, LCD TVs are really making it big in the market nowadays ever since it hit the market.

As of present, even if the OLED technology has already been seen as the future of TV display, the technology remains to be quite limited to smaller display sizes. Well, it came from a tester developer in Romania – the same place Vlad the Impaler got its notorious popularity. But with all other things aside, the LG Fantasy is said to bring a “very nice” 4 inch IPS display and should run on Windows Phone 7.5, ergo the icon. Others might not agree on the “very nice” bit considering the limited information and according to his thread, the supposed buyer is still asking for help in uninstalling certain dev applications on the Fantasy.

The LG Fantasy is set to dawn at Q1 of 2012 and with the leaked specifications, it is foreseen to be on a mid range scale, although surprises can still be opted once it hits the market.

The Japanese version is, however, superior in features because it has the 1seg digital TV and Near Field Communications (NFC) support. The other specs remain the same including the 4.5-inch HD-IPS-LCD capacitive touchscreen with resolution of  1280 x 720 pixels, dual core Qualcomm 1.5 GHz processor, Adreno 220 GPU, 4Gb built-in storage, 1Gb of RAM, and a microSD memory slot for 16Gb/32Gb memory card.

The 8MP camera on the back features a LED flash, autofocus, full HD video recording, face detection, and image stabilization, while the 1.3Mp front-camera is good for video calls. LG Optimus LTE also integrates active noise cancellation and Dolby mobile sound enhancement. LG Mobile has been a known LTE technology innovator with its True IPS display and commitment for high-quality coupled with the required technical experience. LG Optimus runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS and is a candidate for Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade expected next year.

The red-colored LG Optimus LTE will be exclusive to DoCoMo’s customers but its price and other details are unknown for now. Stay tuned.

If you think these basic details seem familiar, that’s because they’re just like AT&T’s LG Nitro and Bell Mobile’s LG Optimus 4G LTE. Hopefully the Spectrum will be different enough for the phone to stand out on its own, and consumers wont have to be bored with the same model over and over again. It does look a little different from the other two by being just a little slimmer, but what else will it feature? Unfortunately, other specs, such as the capturing ability of the front-facing camera and how many bytes of storage it will carry, have not been revealed yet.

The launch date has not been revealed either, but as the phone is running on Gingerbread and not Ice Cream Sandwich, it may be released early 2012. LG has also mentioned a possible update to Ice Cream Sandwich for the Nitro and Optimus LTE once the OS comes out- can this be expected for the Spectrum as well?

Some consumers are also concerned about Verizon having its hands full with 24 up-coming mobile devices, including the LG Spectrum. If Verizon keeps on adding new devices to their lineup, some of the older ones may not get enough maintenance, and other people may simply give up and move onto another network. You had better hope that Verizon is ready for this kind of burden if you want the best out of the LG Spectrum.
