Now here’s a nail to the coffin for our readers who are in China. Just in case you don’t know, there has been a recent report about a hacking incident or rather, a virus outbreak on mobile units affecting an estimated count of 1 million cellphones in the country and probably this is one of the worst zombie-virus cellphone attack we’ve heard for this year.

Apparently, the culprit all goes down to a fake-anti virus app a user will download that contains a Trojan, once you’re infected, all the numbers recorded in your SIM card will be send to the hacker and the monkey will create an automated spam message towards your friends and family – with the same link of the virus software app, thus spreading this malicious hack all over the country.
Aside from this, the hackers are now taking advantage to the hundreds of thousands of units they hacked by spamming SMS messages with ‘money links’ which was said to already amount for 300, 000 USD worth of SMS messages being incur everyday. The nerve-racking part here is, the culprit is now found by the Chinese investigators and this guy is denying every involvement of him and his company towards this zombie-virus attack. So far, China has no word of how to remove this virus from the users cellphone.
Sounds like your friendly hacker in the neighborhood, eh?
