Cobra Electronics Corporation, a leading supplier in automotive, mobile and consumer electronics, will introduce three products at the 2012 CES trade show.

First is the Cobra Vedetta Ultimate Detection Systems Series for advance radar and laser detection. This device is better than the previous Cobra model with its 30% increase in performance. The system also includes 2.4-inch TFT color LCD display which is very flexible and could be placed anywhere on the windshield or dash of the car. The increased range of this system gives sufficient time to react to potential threat. As an additional treat, Cobra offers an integrated GPS receiver with free, lifetime access to its AURA™ national database of speed/red-light cameras and known speed trap locations.
The other two products of Cobra are its new Two-Way Radio Lineup, the CXT 135 and CXT235.
The Cobra CXT 135 can be utilized as a weather radio because of its embedded advanced NOAA Weather Radio feature. In addition, the device has a range of up to 16 miles, Power Saver circuitry for extended battery life, and Call alert. Finally, it has rechargeable NiMH batteries. Meanwhile, the CXT235 has the same features as that of the CXT135, but extends its range of up to 20 miles. It also has a loud audible alert mechanism in case of a weather alert or other emergency. The new features of the CXT235 is useful for as warning device especially at night
There is no announcement on the availability of the three but regarding its price, the CXT135 will sell at $49.95 while the CXT235 will sell for $59.95.
