Well look what do we have here? It appears eventhough the first day of February is still a week from now, there’s a new rumor leaking out on the gamingsphere pertaining to the fourth zombie multiplayer map that’s going to be revealed for Black Ops.
As some of you may already know, Ascension is next zombie map going to be revealed for First Strike DLC on Call of Duty Black Ops and this one is expected to have a gameplay like Kino Der Toten in which its stage will be set on an abandoned Soviet Cosmodrome.
Interestingly, this map will feature out some new enemies such as Cosmic Silverback monkey (just like the mad scientist on Kino Der Toten who still your weapons, but this monkey steal your perks). Dempsey, Nikoli, Takeo and Rictoffen will also be included just like on the previous maps. In addition to that, some amazing weapons will be featured like a Gersch Device / Black Hole Bomb and Matryoshka Dolls in which the Gersch is rumored to be like a plasma-infused cannon like the Thunder Gun and those monkey dolls would be like an explosive mortar device.
Furthermore, perks will be added like “PhD Flogger” and “Stamin-Up perks”. Judging from the name of the latter perk, it should boost your stamina to do some burst of speed type of sprint while running away from your enemies. The former is still yet to be revealed.

Expect First Strike and Ascension Zombie map to arrive on Xbox 360 exclusively on February 1. PS3 release date still undisclosed.
