I am not really so sure if I am going all-in for the 3D bandwagon that just started pre-maturely last January of this year. As some of you may already know, leveraging media for a 3D experience has always been a good idea although I must admit, there are some devices that were built only to taint this idea and give the aspiring buyers an impression that a 3D consumer-electronic product is just a fad and would be vaporize in the near future.

Anyway, I always welcome the idea of trying to improve and be innovative in one way or another and speaking of which, it appears Cowon is now joining the 3D-train as well by revealing its first Cowon 3D PMP (portable media player). So just to give you a quick wrap-up for its specifications, this PMP will have a 4.8 inch TFT LCD screen (800 x 480 resolution) with VGA display. The thing that’s making me scratch my head right now is how the technical specs page claims that it will be using an Intel Pentium III 500 MHz for its processor? Anyway, aside from the ambiguousness, it will support a similar tablet-like feature such as: WiFi support, Opera browser, Full HD video playback, HDMI support, 45 hours of music playback, electronic dictionary and a complete audio book platform.
Its official release date will be on December 10 going to be available first on South Korea without any mention of Western loving and it will set you back for a price of 431 USD – 499k Korean money (32GB version) and 509 USD – 589k Korean money(64GB version). Question is, are you interested?
