If you are living on Western countries, especially on the land of Abraham Lincoln; Cowon isn’t the type of device that you would want to flaunt with your friends who are using an iDevice or Android. Although, the case is kinder when you are located on Asian countries, particularly in South Korea where this company is located. As you can see, Cowon devices prove to be efficient if you just want something that can deliver you the experience of a particular device.

This company is at its best on manufacturing tablets and PMP (portable media player) type of devices and today, it appears it’s ready to unveil something that’s an eye-candy for the consumers. Please welcome, The Cowon D3 Plenue destined to be one of the most powerful PMP device of the company powered by Android. It will be under a 3.7inch form factor with 800 x 400 resolution (AMOLED screen). It will also have a camera that can shoot 1080p HD videos and 8/16/32 GB storage capacity on its microSD memory slot. Other goodies include an HDMI output for a quick sync for your other external media devices, WiFI / Bluetooth support, T-DMB tuner, accelerometer and Cowon brags that it will be filled with apps plus an access to the green market since its using Android 2.1 — Although, everything is still on paper here.
There’s no telling about its price or release date but expect this D3 Plenue to have its debut on CES 2011.
