There’s a new tablet released apparently and it’s the R7 from Cowon Korea.

According to the company, the Cowon R7 is the “full HD Super Portable Media Player (PMP).” It is basically a 7-inch tablet that gives off a display resolution of 800×480 pixels (honestly, this is quite low for its screen size). However, resolution reaches 1080p when connected over HDMI. As for its operating system or OS, (hold your horses folks!), Windows CE 6.0 runs it (we do be that you giggled on this!)
Looking on the bright side, battery life is a plus as it can run for 65 hours (audio) and 10 hours (video) respectively. It is also flexible as it has support for every audio and video format known on this world such as MKV, TS, 3GP, APE, Musepack, Waypack, True Audio, etc.). BBE sound enhancement is only for audio though and doesn’t cover videos. Memory storage is a good 64GB and there’s a microSD slot present on it. An HDMI output is also included in the device.
Tech experts have pointed out that Android and WiFi could have been a bit handier. On a further note, the specifications did make some eyebrows raised as well as made some faces bewildered, but hey, at least Cowon do what it wants to. Details on pricing and availability are blurry at the moment.
