Cowon has released their latest Portable Media Player, V5 HD infused with 720p video playback for your viewing pleasure. Nice and cute with different colors to choose from! What can we expect from the new PMP from Cowon? The usual basic application and file compatibility programs that Cowon has been known for. V5 HD is powered by Windows CE 6.0 that I hope is a good news for everyone.
If you want more power and features added to this gizmo, you can! Cowon can inject an RSS reader, flash games and T-Dmb Television tuner to you V5 HD, that is if you can spend a little more over $256 price it may have once released. This gadget will possess an 8 gigabyte internal memory and can support up to 32 gigabyte of storage via MicroSD.
Performance wise this cutie will flaunt a TFT LCD that has a 480×800 resolution, the music playback can go on for a maximum of 45 hours non-stop! But for the video unfortunately it can’t last that long for it can only stay alive and kicking for 10 hours video playback.
What is unique about this new PMP is that it has a HDMI outlet which makes it more desirable from S9. Cowon will be releasing V5 HD in Korea by January 2010 (they say it will be the 1st day of 2010)
All four colors will be available on V5’s 1st day launch. Everybody seems to be excited to see and feel V5 HD in their hands. Almost all of Cowon PMP owner seems to be pretty happy with its performance specially when it comes to audio playback and its user friendly interface and set-up!
Nothing more has been leaked about this gadget, simply because it’s rumored to look like one of O2’s HD player. A video was posted on YouTube but was removed immediately for the reason I said about O2.
But I guess it’s back! I have the only video available showcasing V5! So if you’re wondering if this gizmo can fit in your pocket, check this video out! Sorry for those in the US and Europe are I have no good news for you, since there’s no info when will Cowon release V5 in you area! So Korea will rave about this one for sure.
Oh and by the way, there is no English version of the video but you wouldn’t need that anyway to appreciate Cowon V5’s sexiness right?
