One of the most highly anticipated FPS games for this year is Crysis 2. It was recently released in North America and received high praises from game bloggers, review sites and the whole gaming community. Unfortunately, just a day after its released, gamers are already complaining about invalid multiplayer keys and other problems that need to be addressed.
It’s good to know that both EA and Crytek are quick to respond on these problems. First was the invalid multiplayer key issue. Several gamers received this annoying error message in their system suggesting that they were trying to input an invalid key. EA stated on its site that you only need to do the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Go to multiplayer and type in your key
- Navigate back to Single Player
- Go back into multiplayer and re-enter your key
Furthermore, the game publisher also promised that a patch is on its way to permanently correct this problem. And speaking of patch, PC gamers had already received the first patch for Crysis 2 that aims to fix the following:
- Server Browser shows incorrect pings – Fixed
- Some matches never initiate – Fixed
- Faster text chat – As speedy as can be
- Console re-enabled – Console has been re-activated
- Cheat detection – Now in place to ensure all users are on a level playing field
- Fix USB headset issues – Current issues have been addressed and fixed
- Fix hologram icon staying on screen after being used – Fixed
- Remove Auto Aim – This has now been completely removed due to overwhelming community feedback
The patch will be downloaded in your system automatically upon booting up. Meanwhile, many gamers are still unsatisfied with the recent Crysis 2 patch. They are still complaining about the game’s lack of DX11 support. As a result, many high-end PC owners can’t use the full potential of their gaming rigs. Still no comments from EA nor Crytek.
Crysis 2 will be released in the UK on March 25 and currently compatible on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
