It’s not been a while, we were not yet able to fully grasp and come again to our sense with the lightning and thunder but Dell had already started making us crazy with the new flash.
Dell’s newest Dell Flash is already starting to build its own gang of fans with its exciting upgraded features and elegant look. Although it has the same curved glass casing as with the recent Dell Thunder, it has a smaller screen sporting only a 3.5 inch WVGA LCD unlike the latter which has a 4.1 inch screen.
Although having a much lesser viewing experience it still offers a bigger surprise. It is said to be powered by a stronger and more upgraded Android 2.2 tagged as Android Froyo. Unlike Thunder which is only powered by a natural Android power, Flash is said to have a JIT Complier, Free additional RAM, OpenGL ES 2.0 enhancements and resolution of cross multitouch. With this it seems that its a little ahead with the thunder. It has a Qualcomm MSM 7 7230 core humming along at 800 MHz.
Dell had yet stopped getting ahead of the game still raising its 2nd generation of Android devices. Dell Flash has a 5 megapixel camera lesser by 3 megapixels compared to the thunder but has more features such as the autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizer, and smile & blink detection. This high resolution camera offers high quality video and graphics.
The smartphone has the same Wi-Fi and social networking connection ability as with the Thunder. It has a TV-out freature allowing one touch push of recorded video to sites and homepages. An HTML 5 is also included for faster rendering, viewing and streaming of videos and graphics. Dell Flash is also efficient for business and professional activities allowing no worry access for important information. It has an on-demand data management enabling unlimited access and convenient sync, share, store and retrieving of data. It may be alittle lesser than the Thunder in some terms but it has a wider access in browsing allowing a full PC like browsing.
Like Thunder, it is also integrated with an Adobe Flash 10.1 however it doesn’t have the exciting Hulu application that the previous one had. It offers the same navigation experience having the easy and quick organization of stuffs.
To complete this new package, Flash has WCDM 850/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, 14.4 Mbps down and 5.6Mbps on upstream, 512 MB of Ram and ROM, micro SD expansion up to 64 GB, well it will surely allow bigger and larger data capacity, 725 hours in stanby mode and 12 talk hours, a predictive text, handwriting recognition, e-compass, acelometer and proximity sense.
This new awesome and really stylish hand device is not yet carrying a tag price however, it is expected to appear in the 1st quarter of 2011 and will be an AT&T branded.
