Finally! The mystery of Dell’s Inspiron Duo has been revealed. Our impatient curiosity days are finally over.

And what makes this update exciting is because in a few weeks from now, Dell will launch its latest tablet/netbook hybrid or most commonly known as the Dell Inspiron Duo. The said hybrid will become available for pre-orders and shipments for $549.
Features of Inspiron Duo includes a 10.1-inch display, Intel Atom dual core N550 processor, 2GB RAM, Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator, 250GB storage, Windows 7 Home premium, two USB ports, and an audio jack. On the other hand if you choose to add a JBL speaker dock, the price will become $649. Though this may seem like a regular netbook, what makes Inspiron Duo unique is that it can actually be converted into a tablet. All you need to do is spin the screen off its case!
Using its tablet form, the 1366×768 capacitive touchscreen will automatically welcome you with its Duo Stage UI interface. Thus, you will definitely enjoy browsing upon Dell’s MusicStage, VideoStage, PhotoStage, and BookStage apps. The touchscreen is also very finger-friendly and is very responsive even to light taps.
If you want to switch it back to netbook, you will get a very nice chiclet keyboard with a very reliable touchpad equipped with two cool mouse buttons. In terms of style, Inspiron Duo also comes in elegant “foggynight” black, “fastback” red, and “marlin” blue colors.
So if you are into dual-form hybrids, Dell Inspiron Duo is surely worth the wait!
