Looks like Dell had been releasing series of laptops these days but it’s still hard to determine what are the differences or advantages of the new ones with the old ones. Well for this new one in their R-series, although it may look just like its siblings in the R-series does offer higher “power plant” inside.
The new Dell Inspiron M501R has greater customization potential than other R series laptops. It carries the debut of AMDs New quad core Phenomenon II X4 CPU which is not yet expected to be in laptops. This processor has a quad core chip with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz, but it’s not yet clear which AMD processor will be included in the M501R model. It also includes an AMD M8806 chipset with ATI mobility Radeon HD4250 graphics standard or an optional Mobility Radeon HD 550v 1GB graphics.
Dell Inspiron M501R also has a 15.6 inch 720p WLED capable display with true to life images which surely offers high definition. Other features include Optical drives standard DVD burner, optional Blu ray Disc Combo drive, Memory that can expand up to 8GB 1333MHz DDR 3 SDRAM, Hard drives of up to 640 GB configured with a 5400 RPM SATA hard drive. The said new model has the latest features and technology including the 1.3 MP integrated webcam and microphone, offers Wi-Fi options of Standard Dell Wireless 1501 802.11 g/n, 3 USB 2.0 compliant ports, E-SATA, HMDI Port, VGA Port, 7 in 1 Card Reader, and runs with Genuine Windows 7 64 Bit OS. It is being run by a 6 cell 48 WHr Li-Ion battery or an optional 9 cell 90 WHr Li-Ion Battery.
The superb power and exciting features are packed in width of 14.80 inch and height of 1.25 inch gadget and weighs 5.831 lbs. The laptop also has the exciting 4 vibrant color options. Although this new model really excites us, other details about this are not yet revealed by the company. No pricing or shipping options are available yet. Looks like Dell wants us to be more excited and curious about this new Dell Inspiron M501R. Let’s just see if it will really be worth the wait.
