Dell has introduced its new line of Inspiron R notebook series which will delight any budget-conscious individual. The refreshed Inspiron R, will be coupled with Intel’s new Sandy Bridge processors and will come at 14in, 15in and 17in display sizes, respectively.

The new Dell Inspiron R series has notably changed the way its chassis looked. Unlike its previous version wherein the lid was permanently attached, the new Inspiron R laptops have “swappable” lids. Users of the new Inspiron R laptops may choose from a variety of colors and designs courtesy of SWITCH by Design Studio. The normal designs (single shade) will cost $39.99 to as much as $49.99 for special designs/patterns.

As far as its innards are concerned the new Dell Inspiron R series packed some serious stuff. Here’s a summary of them:

The new Dell Inspiron R series design is now similar with the new XPS line. And with the interchangeable SWITCH by Design Studio lids, users of the new Inspiron R laptops will both have performance and style in one portable device.
The new Dell Inspiron R series laptops are currently available on Dell’s website with the Inspiron 15R priced at $529.99 while the 14R and 17R are both starting at $579.99.
