While the Streak 5 and Streak 7 Android tablets of Dell aren’t exactly the most popular green-slates in the market today, Dell made one thing clear, and that is, they’re serious on becoming one of the top distributors in this tablet-world we’re living in.
As a refresher, it was leaked before that D is even going to implement not one, but actually more than three tablets this year, supporting the Android, Windows 7 and even the upcoming Windows 8 platform.
As an update, Dell has announced today that it will be revealing its Dell Streak 10 tablet, which was first featured at the CES last January. And this one will be packing with the latest Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform. Then again, Dell said the Streak 10 which was showcased during the Consumer Electronic Show was just a “prototype” and the one they’re going to reveal this June is like nothing we’ve seen before.
Again, this tablet is different with the 10-inch Slate announcement last month which will get the Windows 7 flavor. At this point, all we are hoping is that, the flaws made from the Dell Streak 7 will be eradicated (Stage UI, Low resolution, poor battery, etc) on its bigger brethren.
Expected shipping release date to hit until next year.
