Hooray! T-Mobile’s First 4G tablet is here. The Android-powered Dell Streak 7 slate will hit the stores come February 2 and will be offered on a with/without contract basis.

The Dell Streak 7 is apparently a good alternative for gadget hunters who is on the fence with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The latter is being offered at $300 with a contract and $500 without, respectively. On the other hand, the Dell Streak 7 is cheaper at just $200 with a 2-year T-Mobile contract and $450 free of commitments. Of course, you need to pay an additional $50 mail-in rebate for the Streak. Now, you need to weigh-in which of these tablets is the best combining price and performance.
If you’ve already forgotten the specs of Dell Streak 7 then check this out:
- Sports a 7-inch multi-touch screen
- Android 2.2 OS (with Honeycomb upgrade)
- 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 Processor
- 5MP camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera

Based on these specs and features (and price), T-Mobile’s 4G slate isn’t looking bad at all. You may also check the specs of the Galaxy Tab for comparison. So now, you need to make up your mind which of these tablets is the right one for your money.
