Hoo boy! Until when will the users wait for the official shipping of this phone? As you may or may not know, Dell Venue Pro (Lightning Phone) is the first high-end WP7 smartphone of Dell which was first revealed officially on Microsoft’s WP7 event last October. All the specifications were released like packing a 1GHZ processor, a portrait-slider form factor, 5MP flash, etc but its appears its price and official release date are turning into a hodge-podge of predictions making the buyers wonder if this phone would ever have the chance to be released before 2011?
Well, your questions are now answered! As a recent leak from Tmonews confirmed that the Dell Venue Pro will have a release date on November 8 from Microsoft and November 15 on Dell. While the pricing isn’t yet revealed, we do know that one of the carriers this smartphone will be picking is T-mobile. Also, we’ve managed to unearth a leak before confirming its price for UK which is 499 euros (equivalent to 700 USD). Probably, its US release date will have a similar price if unsubsidized or a 200 USD worth of 2-year contract plan on its designated carrier, if subsidized.
At this point, there’s still no lead for the revelation of the Android Version of this portrait slider phone – Dell Venue, but you can be sure everything will fall on a faster pace as soon as the WP7 version finally hits on the market nationwide.
