Dell has finally unveiled their new line of Vostro 3000 series laptops each boasting Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processors.
However, the Vostro 3000 is not just another Sandy Bridge laptop, it is packed with cool features that won’t even cost you much. For the Vostro 3000 series, Dell retained all the things we love about the previous Vostro versions namely: the aluminum casing, matte display, backlit keyboard, HD webcams, SRS Pro sound and a new chiclet keyboard.
For this series, Dell is giving its users the option to choose from different display sizes that ranges from 13in -17.3 inches. These laptops can also be customized with a premier selection of Core i3, i5 and i7 processors – with the exception of 17.3 inch model which will have a quad-core option. Other specs included up to 8GB RAM, SSD options, a variety of hard drives and 6 to 9 cell batteries that can last up to 12 hours.
The release of the Vostro 3000 series is on March 22, 2011 and they will be readily available for the U.S. terrirory in Dell.com. Prices from the press release are as follows: the 13inch 3350 is $599, the 14inch 3450 is $499, the 15inch 3550 is $499 and the 17inch 3750 is at $549. The prices, models and availability for the series may vary in different countries.
