This report may come as good news for gamers or may be wrapped around the guillotine of ‘when’ if you look at it the other way.

Back on the Blizzcon, Jay Wilson (lead designer) manages to hint the audience that they will certainly provide beta play for Diablo 3 on the coming future. Yes, as you can see Blizzard is a perfectionist company and it’s very unlikely that you’ll see it launch something that’s inundated with bugs. Ever since Diablo 3 was first leaked last 2008, howls of scream ravage into the air and even after 3 years, the blue company can only give us vague hints about its official release date.
This isn’t really unusual for the Diablo franchise, since it’s Blizzard’s ace PC-game for the past decade much like Starcraft 2 and you can bet that they are doing all of this preparation just to be sure every gamers who waited for this game for more than a decade will finally be quenched.
As for the Diablo III beta, it will be a closed one, particularly inside the Blizzard community only and it’s not yet revealed if they will be inviting outside players just at least to give them an early feeling of what it’s like to play the real Diablo 3 and not just looking on videos and pictures.
Aside from this revelation, Blizzcon confirmed the PVP-mode and the 5th class for Diablo 3. For the meantime, let our threshold for patience be set on a higher pace, at least the company is still leaving us breadcrumbs to follow!
