Gosh, this Android phone should be revealing itself rather than just leaking – ‘coz it’s driving the droid-buyers from the eastern part of the world wild! So far, the Droid 2 Global phone is touted to be the first droid phone going to be available on CDMA and it will be GSM unlocked. So far this will be a dream come true for countries, especially in Asia, where the streak of “Droid” from Moto has not yet landed.
Previously, it was leaked from Moto’s website, then on a Costco database revealing its specifications like: 1.2GHz ARM V7 processor, Internal 8 GB Storage (expandable MicroSD up to 32GB), 512 RAM, It’s a Full-QWERTY keyboard under a 3.7 inch capacitive multi touch screen w/ 480×854 resolution, 5MP Dual LED flash w/ 720p recording capability. And it’s available on all countries. Interestingly it was revealed later on for a Verizon landing in USA, and so far the latest leaks confirms this plus a rumored release date on November 11! From the looks of it, this global phone will have two colors (Black and Blue) although some claims it will have a white version as well which could only be the R2D2. Price is predicted to be a sub-200 deal with a contract and 400-600 USD price if it will be unsubsidized.
Anyway, Thursday is just a week from now. So if you are interested, I would be preparing right now. Not to mention that crazy leak about a possibility of a Verizon iPhone 4 event will be happening on November 9 – Crazy, literally!
