If you’ve been waiting for a price drop for a Motorola Droid 2, now is the time!

With the release of the Motorola Droid 2 Global imminent, it was really just a matter of days before the Motorola Droid 2 would get a price cut. Lo and behold, the price cut to the original Droid 2; $149.99 on contract on Verizon’s site.
What’s interesting to see here is that the price will only be up to the end January 29, 2011. Looks like people on a budget will be able to get on this deal until January only. Verizon is doing this in order to make room for their new and upcoming Motorola Droid 2 Global.

Here’s a quick recap of the Droid 2 Global’s specs:
- Android 2.2
- 1200MHz ARM v7 processor
- Internal 8 GB storage
- MicroSD and MicroSDHC support for up to 32GB
- 512 MB RAM
